Most fans of the ITV series Doc Martin would recognize this quaint seaside village on the Atlantic coast of north Cornwall, England as Port Wenn, but it is in fact called Port Isaac, (Cornish: Porthysek). The setting/location of this real-life idyllic town is as much a character on the show as the title role, played by Martin Clunes, along with an assortment of charming and eclectic cast of characters. It is no surprise that tourism has gone up ever since the tv show has famously put Port Wenn on the map. This location is one of the many places that we would love to visit when we travel to England.
